This privacy policy explains how we collect and use any personal information we collect about you when you use this website. Some of the information we collect from you may include ‘personal data’ and therefore this includes your name and contact details.

The information that you provide to KPHP Limited T/A Deal With My Claim (whether this is personal data or information regarding your legal matter) will be held, processed and used by KPHP Limited, which is trading as Deal With My Claim. Our Data Protection Officer is Kiran Pabla.


How we use your personal information

Your privacy is important to us and this is why we will always ask you to consent to us contacting you using the personal information that you provide to us on the website, as well as giving you the option to opt-in to our e-newsletter so we can send you exclusive discounts and important information regarding the firm. Under no circumstances will your personal information be used or sold to any other organisation or firm.

Any personal information that you provide to us will be uploaded to our central management system (CMS) and will only be accessed by the team handling your case with us. It may be required for us to pass your personal information onto third parties, such as insurers and medical specialists and therefore you must be able to provide us consent to do this so we work on your case.


How we protect your data

All of the information that we collect about you is for internal use only and this is held in accordance with the current GDPR policies. We regularly review our security regarding the data we hold and we make a conscious effort to remove old data from our system. Any file that you have with us will be kept on our system for 6 years, after which, only Kiran and Hari Pabla and Patrick Flynn will be able to access your records. Our data is stored on our Central Management System (CRM); however, we do reserve the right to also store your data on secure, carefully selected portable devices and in paper files. As a paperless office, we do our very best to not keep your personal data recorded in paper files and only store them on our CRM, however, we understand that in some cases, this is not always possible and paper files may need to be retained. 
Information that we collect from you
The information that we collect may include your personal information such as your name, contact information, IP addresses, telephone conversations, product and service selections and orders or other things that can individually identify you. Typically, the information we collect from you will be used for the following:

  • To get in contact with you via, email or other written correspondence, telephone calls, web-based forms, or other means.

In addition to the above, we also use automated technical means to collect information about all website visitors for example by use of cookies.


Information that we monitor

When you visit our website, a record of your visit will be made. That data is used completely anonymously and is used in order to determine the number of people who visit our website and the most frequently used sections of the site. This enables us to continually update and refine the site and monitor whether you are a returning visitor.
Information used for marketing purposes
To enable us to provide you with exclusive discount services and updates regarding the firm from time to time, you will be required to provide us with your consent to do this. By providing us with consent, you will be allowing us to use a limited amount of your personal data (e.g. name, email address and contact number) for marketing purposes such as phone calls and e-newsletters. You can withdraw your consent for us to use your personal information for marketing purposes at any time. The use of IP addresses

We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information for internal purposes only. This is statistical data to inform us about our users' browsing actions and patterns.

We may obtain information about your general internet usage by using a cookie file which is stored on your browser or the hard drive of your computer - cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer's hard drive. This helps us to improve our website and enables us to deliver an improved and more personalised service. Some of the cookies we use are essential for the site to operate. Access to information

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) gives you the right to access the information that we hold about you and your personal data that we process. Your right to access this can be exercised in accordance with GDPR. Initial access requests will be free of charge; however, repeated requests may be subject to a fee. The sum of this fee is up to our Data Protection Officer, Kiran Pabla’s discretion. Where possible, we will provide you with this information through a remote, secure self-service system, which provides you with direct access to the information we hold about you.


Your right to be forgotten

Under the current GDPR requirements, you have the right to be forgotten – this means that you have the right to request that we will erase all data that we hold about you if you object to the processing of your data or you wish to withdraw consent that you have previously provided. In accordance with the current regulation, your data will be removed from all cloud services and from all third parties who may have received your personal data in relation to the case that you have with us. Your data will also be removed from our CRM; however, Kiran Pabla can obtain a limited amount of your personal data for the sole purpose of fraudulent claims. No other file handlers or member of staff will be permitted to locate this data once you have requested full erasure from our system.

Any changes that we make to our privacy and data protection policy can be accessed via this webpage, and where appropriate, you will also be notified by email.
