Student Visa Applications

If you’re an international student looking to study in the UK, you will be required to apply for a Student Visa if you are from a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland.

To be eligible for this application, you must have received an unconditional offer on a full-time course with a licensed Tier 4 Sponsor that is at least a level 6 on the Ofqual register, be able to read, write, speak and understand English and have enough money in your bank account to be able to fund your course and fully support yourself. The specific amount of money you will be required to have will be dependent on your circumstances and where you wish to study in the UK – our legal advisers will be able to provide you with further information in relation to this after listening and understanding your specific requirements and circumstances.

Are you looking to study a course to get a degree? If so, then you will be permitted to work up to 20-hours per week during term time and full time during holiday periods. For all other types of courses, you will need to speak to one of our legal advisers for clarification on how many hours you can work on a Student Visa as this is entirely dependent on the course and the level that you’re studying at.

For further information and specific guidance, get in touch with us today and one of our legal advisers will be able to assist you prior to passing you onto our immigration solicitor. Our immigration team will be able to assist you and work in a professional, cost-efficient manner which will then enable us to reduce the level of stress that many people feel throughout the course of your immigration application.
